Congrats to the new Level 1 students! This is just the beginning!
Just a reminder that there are still a BUNCH of secret achievements that haven't been unlocked. Maybe doing something out of the ordinary or brainstorming with some friends might help you guys think of ways to get bonus points so you can move up levels faster.

Thursday! Symbiotic Relationships!
It's is PAST TIME that we got into learning about symbiotic relationships! Watch these videos to better understand the beneficial relationships different species can have with each other.
First off, let's talk about ecosystems underwater: BRAINPOP: UNDERWATER WORLD
Then, let's break it down: BRAINPOP: SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIPS
Now, in your composition books, write this question and respond to it:
How can different species of animals rely on each other for survival? Give an example.
Draw a detailed picture to illustrate your point.

Hi everyone,
Well it looks like I hurt myself pretty good playing soccer. Here is your assignment for today during Science. We are working to SHARPEN your observation SKILLS.
1. Make sure you have TWO "Sharpening your Observation Skills" worksheets.
2. Using the pictures below, write three observations, three inferences, and three predictions for each picture.
3. Discuss what you have written with a partner for each picture - and why you wrote what you did.
4. Read the information about each picture (from the link). What did you get right? Any surprises?
5. Wrap it all up with a fun/informational video at the end of this post!

Welcome to the New Year
Hi students!
Now that we are settled into the 2011-2012 school year, you will be able to check this site for updates and homework info. I also have a lot of links (in the right gutter) where you can play learning games or get more info on a topic you like.
Check the calendar above for homework due dates and important events. I will try to keep it updated as often as I can.
