At the very bottom of this page, you will find a calendar with important dates and homework information. We use our planners everyday in class, but if you are ever absent or forget your planner, this is where you should look! Or if you have a parent that has questions about when an assignment is due, show them the calendar.
You can also send me an email or post a comment if you have questions!

This week we have learned about common multiples and common factors. This is a fun game to practice these skills: Snowball Fight!
ALSO, what can you do if you are stuck on a homework question?????
1. Reread the question out loud. Break it down into steps. What is the first thing you should do? Then the second? etc.
2. Ask a parent or older sibling.
3. Ask a friend from class.
4. Check out the Multnomah County Library Homework Help page. Did you know you can text a librarian?
5. And finally, if all else fails, wait till we go over homework in class together.

Welcome to 6th Grade!
Hi new 6th graders!
Welcome to our class page! I will try to put updates up here as much as I can remember, and sometimes homework or assignments. Check out the links on the page for fun games that relate to what we will learn this year. If you ever have a great website, send it my way and I will post it with your recommendation!
Also, below is a fancy spreadsheet called Deacon Crossing. I will explain how it works when we are all together in class :)
See you soon!!!
Mrs. Deacon
