Outdoor School Photo Books

I have created a 22-page photobook full of pictures from Outdoor School. If at least 10 people purchase them, we can get them for $11/book (includes shipping). I will be sending home a form home tonight so that you can order one from me. It's filled with lots of pics of everyone who went.

Outdoor School THIS SUNDAY!

Please remember to be at school to load the bus for Outdoor School this Sunday at 2:30! If you have medications, I will collect them before we load. It looks like it's going to be a WET week, so bring lots of layers and make sure you have good hiking shoes/boots that are waterproof.

Remember, NO electronics of any kind or they will be taken away.

No weekly homework this week!

Since most of us will not be back at school next Monday (but instead at Camp Adams), I am NOT sending home weekly homework. Instead, every night we will get some form of homework to be returned the next day.

Tonight you need to bring home the paper you started on the four empires of Mesopotamia. Remember, your job is to choose ONE empire that you think had the greatest achievements and tell why they are the best. Write a 1-page paper (nothing too formal, just make sure you use good spelling and grammar).

Don't forget: We leave from school for Outdoor School at 2:30-3:00 on SUNDAY! Be there on time!

Outdoor School FORMS!

I HAVE to send in the Outdoor School forms and there are still a few people who haven't given them to me!!!!! I realize that a couple students are unable to go for personal reasons, but PLEASE remember to bring your forms tomorrow!

And the Vision Screening Forms, too, please :)

I sent home Outdoor School forms TODAY! Make sure you read everything, and if you need any of the forms in a language other than English, please let me know. I am happy to answer any questions about Outdoor School - but we'll be talking a lot up till we leave.

Most important is that we will be at Camp Adams during the week of October 25th - 30th.

Next week is also Harrison Park's OPEN HOUSE, from 6 - 7:30. Students should come and bring their family! You can check out the classroom, what we will be learning this year, and ask any questions.

Students did a great job of turning in their homework this week - keep it up!

REMEMBER!!!! Tomorrow is LATE START! Students should be in class at 10:40.
