Dear Parents/Guardians,
This week we started our final history unit on Ancient Rome. Each student has chosen an area of specialty to study and create their own project. On Friday June 6th, students will take all that they have learned and participate in a “Greco Roman Feast.” During the feast, students will present projects, use latin phrases, and practice Roman dining customs.
While many of the supplies and decorations will be made in class as we learn about the time period, some extra supplies would be greatly appreciated. Typically, I purchase the supplies out of my own pocket, but if you are able to provide $3-$5 or help purchase some of the supplies, it would be greatly appreciated. (If you let us borrow a decoration, I promise I’ll return it!)
I am including a list of foods that can be brought. These foods are optional and if you are concerned about an allergy, please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare an alternative.
Please let me know if you have any questions or are able to purchase one of the supplies (a list is attached).
Cheers!
Mrs. Deacon
